Have you considered joining the neurodiverse or queer community? As a young adult I struggled with depression and the feeling that other people just didn't 'fit' me, and that I would always be unsafe and alone, but since I started socialising with people who don't love in boxes or think in boxes, I've found so much more of my tribe. So many of the things that box us in 'man's stuff, women's stuff, normal stuff and weird stuff' is just unecessary, because what I've found in common with these people is trauma and the needs for love and friendship. I don't know where you live in the world, but I would encourage you to find these communities (because honestly i think everyone is on a spectrum of sexuality and neurodiversity, and they will let you in) and join them. Also mental health group in your local area is another place to find community with others who struggle with life not being how they need it to be.

@@jcoel123 There is this chemical in women’s brain that make them fall in love a lot more than men do. As I said, men and women are wired very differently from each other, and that would make it very hard for them to bond with each other. Women are more likely to be loving or all and accept people faster, while men are more likely to take a long time to bond. Because of those differences, it seems that men and women can never truly have a strong bond and emotional connection with each other. When I usually see heterosexual couples or hear about someone who says they are in love with someone (of the opposite sex), I always get the idea that their love and bond and connection is fake or not near as strong as they try to make it out to seem to be. The same thing can be said about male and female relationships that are strictly platonic and are not romantic at all.

@@justus7308 I heard that lesbian relationships are healthier because they understand each other. If both partners understand each other, they won’t want to break up with each other. I also heard that women have higher rates of depression when married (in straight relationships). There is a very small percent of women that are happy in heterosexual relationships. So it's very hard for men and women to bond with each other and have a strong bond with each other. Both men and women think differently, behave differently, react in a different way. The more similar two people are, the easier it is to relate and understand each other, resulting in a better, more fulfilling connection. I also read somewhere that even with the divorce rates what they are, most heterosexual marriages that don't end in divorce are still unhappy, and can absolutely relate to experiencing significantly more depression while married than while single.

I’m sure there are some circumstances in which it is hard for some people to bond with the opposite sex, but once again you are over generalizing, and again it has no evidence to back it up. Sadly Victoria ends up leaving the Tardis because she found people who would be like adoptive parents towards her & want to care for her. She was often scared on her adventures & still longs for a family so she goes. However, Jamie is heartbroken and kisses her twice when they say goodbye (sadly these episodes are lost :( so we can't watch them)
